Can someone please help give me some spiritual advice about what to do after a traumatic time?

I was married 6 yrs ago to a man from Asia,(I changed my religion for him,and devoted myself to him and his family mind body and soul,I even moved to his country to be with him. From the begining there were times he didn't treat me right,it was obvious the relationship was doomed, but because I loved him I kept by his side,I took him with me to the USA(a mistake I now regret)Me and my family drained our financial resources to get him settled, for the first 3 yrs things were terrible,I was very sick and disabled due to an illness,we had no medical insurance. There was allot of mistreatment, name calling and physical verbal and emotional abuse against me.Then he got a good job.things went smoothe until he got citizenship, then there was a total decline.I was so miserable and cried almost daily.I was also very sick.

Finanally he told me he doesnt love me anymore, and would always abuse and control me,so we had a divorce. After I filed I found out his family already had a girl for him chosen. Can someone please help give me some spiritual advice about what to do after a traumatic time?
Find a good Christian church and become a member of the church community. It will help you to give all your worries to Christ.

My mind is playing tricks on me. Please help. I need spiritual advice.?

So here is the story. I cheated on my boyfriend 3.5 years ago. he forgave me. I try to forgive myself but it is hard. Now my paranoia that he will cheat on me is ruining our relationship. I think horrible thoughts. I am scared to leave him alone. I get upset if he is gone too long. I get very upset when he talks to other girls. I have invaded his privacy time and time again I keep checking his email. harassing him about other women. I feel I am pushing him towards it. I keep asking him to leave and he won't. The thing is. I LOVE HIM! I am so passionate about him. AFter 7 years together I still melt when he touches me. We hold each other every night. We have a beautiful daughter together. WE get along good when I am not being stupid and irrational. I start all the arguments. He is so laid back and will do anything to put a smile on my face. we do not lack in anything. I feel like my mind is breaking down. I obsess over every little thing. I cry bad when he gets stern w/meMy mind is playing tricks on me. Please help. I need spiritual advice.?
First of All, i want to wish you all my luck that things work out. Here is something you need to look at... if he will do anything to put a smile on your face, he LOVES you!!! It seems like he really cares and wants you to get better. I think you should talk to someone. If you are too embarrassed to talk to a psychiatrist, talk to one of your good friends, or family members. They will definitely help you!!!!!!!!!

Just remember:

You asked him to leave, and he wouldn't. why? because he wants you fo rthe rest of his life!My mind is playing tricks on me. Please help. I need spiritual advice.?
You need to focus on who you are, what your desires and needs are in life. Then decide if your relationship is part of where you should be in the future. Your relationship is NOT your life. It is a distraction unless the only purpose you have in life is to make babies, and you don't necessarily need a relationship for that. Figure out who you are, and your boyfriend will have respect for you. If you live for only the relationship, you have no life of your own to offer, and thus, you will always be insecure.
If there is no mutual trust in a relationship, the relationship cannot endure for too long. Learn to trust again, or you will indeed lose your man. Get professional help is needed.
The past is in the past. Forget about it and concentrate in the now. You are very insecure and if you can't overcome this, you need to let him go. Straight yourself up or let him go before somebody gets hurt.
im no expert, but i think you should spend some alone time with him. no kids, no problems, no nothing. take a vacation to somewhere really nice and just relax with him.
Do something for yourself, like take night classes.
You violated his trust by cheating which should make him not trust you. Now you say that he's not good enough for your trust. This relationship is over or it wil be soon. It has soured like milk that was left out on the counter. Try to be faithful next time!
it sounds like you really love each other. i would say get counseling for both of you. if he loves you that much he will go. he needs to quit doing things to feed your insecurities too. when you pray to God .... don't forget to

wait for Him to answer before you get off your knees.

God Bless.
you should go to see a shrink i know wut does she know i dont even know this girl BUT........it helped me i had the sam issue and its all good now!
listen. if your man isn't doing wrong, dont push him 2 it. he loves you, obviously. support him. trust him. u have 2 learn to forgive yourself. no one is perfect. u made a mistake, forgive yourself. he loves you. cheating is probably far from his mind. treat him right, let him see that he means everything to u. and you have to try to stop being insecure----or else one day you may loose him. as for not getting any answers from God. give it time. God answers our prayer on his time, not ours. plus, he doesn't allow anything to happen to u that he know you cant handle.

I asked an Aboriginal Canadian for spiritual advice and might have gotten myself in a little trouble?

I was in a smoke break at a recovery meeting, after getting an ingenious idea (not really, but recovery people are known for these things). It was not because I needed to know, but I wanted to deal with an issue of my past. I am not a man (at my age) who chases after teenagers. I didn't think about exactly what kind of subject it entails, and asked one of these girls to know about the Spirit World.

I guess that I could tell them that I am too old for them and like everyone else there, I'm just trying to live with myself. It would work right?I asked an Aboriginal Canadian for spiritual advice and might have gotten myself in a little trouble?
Is she 18? Do it up, then.I asked an Aboriginal Canadian for spiritual advice and might have gotten myself in a little trouble?
The only ';spirit world'; that aboriginals in Canada know is the one in the Liquor marts.

Or the Lysol aisle at Safeway...
Find an indigenous Canadian male more in your age group

and ask HIM for some Spirit World guidance..........if that's

what you REALLY are after.

Leave those young girls completely alone.

You probably creeped them out.
What would work?

Asking someone for some spiritual advice? Yes

Or asking a teenage out on a date? No

AWESOME BOOK!! COMMENT ON ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL ADVICE!?

While reading this book I become astounded by the quality he sends his wisdom and knowledge through his crystal clear english skills. I love this messege he sent on page 50. ';Nothing ever happened in the past; It happened in the NOW';, ';Nothing will ever happen in the future, it will happen in the NOW';. This really, really, really, explain why and how time is an illusion, it's and illusion because time doesn't even exist!!!! Here is another intelligent fact tha Tolle stated, that proves past doesn't even exist, ';What you think of as the past is a memory trace, stores in the mind, of a former Now.';

So since he states that time doesn't even exist, don't YOU think it will be better to forget about time and enter the Now? Comment on what you think of the Now and how nice it is to forget about all problems dimish with the illusion of time.AWESOME BOOK!! COMMENT ON ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL ADVICE!?
Then why do people age ? come back when you are 90 and explain.AWESOME BOOK!! COMMENT ON ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL ADVICE!?
While I agree that time is an illusion. It's difficult for many to comprehend this fact and merely saying that it's better to forget about time is even more confusing.

People will come to their own conclusions when they're ready and since time doesn't really exist it doesn't really matter when they come to those conclusions.
your question is in the past so by your book it can't be answered .... it doesn't exist

If given the chance what spiritual advice would you give a 16 year old girl who is to be stoned for adultery?

Now you cannot prevent her execution. She has been found guilty and will die in accordance with local law. For the sake of the argument she did commit adultery and the local law is quite clear on this crime and its punishment. The man with whom she had illcit sex was also found guilty but was spared execution in return for paying monetary damages the girl's husbandIf given the chance what spiritual advice would you give a 16 year old girl who is to be stoned for adultery?
PrayIf given the chance what spiritual advice would you give a 16 year old girl who is to be stoned for adultery?
I would let her know that although her crime will not be forgiven by the government, it can be forgiven by God. He can give her comfort through her pain and take her to be with Him in heaven when she dies. All she needs to do is ask and trust that He will answer. I would also encourage her to forgive those who sinned against her- holding on to that anger will only hurt her and get in the way of her closeness with God. Just because he was not executed does not mean he won't suffer some punishment.
It is pretty much too late for spiritual advice to do her any good at this point. She does not have enough time to think about wether it is true or not. Therefore it would not be possible for her to truely believe any advice you give her to be true or not. Just not enough time for it to do any good. Whether we/you recognize what i just said as being true or not is a different story.
I would advise she ask her husband for forgiveness, then pray to the LORD for HIS forgiveness and ask to be spared the most painful blows. In other words, let the first blow be the deadly one then she won't feel the rest. If her husband truly loves her and forgives her, he will be the one to deal that blow to spare her the pain. Then she needs to accept her punishment without hysterics.

In the example given about ';those without sin, cast the first stone'; that was a trap to prove Jesus as a false ';prophet';. HE knew she was innocent of the crime they were accusing her of. She was not married or betrothed and was a free agent. Notice they didn't bring forth the man who apparently was as guilty as she would have been if there had been a crime. Her accusers disappeared, therefore no crime was committed. In the above example, the girl was married, was caught as was the man. They both were found guilty, they both should stand punishment. Unfortunately, she was born into a society where women and children are viewed as property. The man paid for damaging the goods, so to speak, and paid a dear price to keep his life. She has no such recourse, save that the husband could have chosen to divorce her. Her life would have been a living misery. Perhaps in some societies death is considered a kindness.
Tell her that every actions had their own responsibilities either good or bad and she should take it anyway if there is no chance to survive from the law..

You can tell her to pray to God to forgive her sin whatever she took and ask the God allow her to enter heaven, that's all you can do..
I don't know what I would do, but i can tell you what my Lord did. He looked at the ones that were going to stone that girl, which was the law of the day, and yes, it does seem to man got away with it, and told the ones that were without sin to cast the first stone- and then he said to the girl- GO AND SIN NO MORE. He was not excusing her sin, He was making the point that those men were sinners as well.
I'd tell her to suck it up and deal with it and if she had access to any alcohol to get good and drunk.

I'd tell her she isn't going to any heaven or hell. She will cease to exist upon her physical death. She is an evolved primate as we all are.

What do you expect anyone to answer?
Die well. You did say there was no way to stop it. If someone accused me of that and let the instigator free, I would demand he too be stoned to death. You are assuming that it is her fault entirely. I would tell he to take the b@$#*^d with her in death!
I'd say to her.

You're screwed !

Your god made these laws and instructed humans to implement them.

You are going to die a terrible death to appease this evil god.

The sad bit is, there is no god so this is all in vain.

I'd like to help you but it's too late.

Sorry.
So where is your problem all sounds fair to me we all know god hates em too and why kill a perfectly useful working man over one little mistake. Oh yes the girl, well I dont know, Oh yes thats it ';better luck next time sweetheart';
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. For which you or no one can stone this girl or the man.

You have judged her rightly but I say again, Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
There is nothing you could say to comfort anyone who was going to suffer punishment like that. I would just tell her that there is no pain after death.
**** spiritual advice, she needs help.

Laws are limits created by man, she is going to hell on mans accord.

  • Good evening, folks!! Need some spiritual advice....?

What do you feel is the best spiritual approach to childbirth? We're talking everything from the labor and delivery to the postpartum aspects... Also.. I need some advice here......

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>Good evening, folks!! Need some spiritual advice....?
Remain flexible and work with your OB. Remember the goal is to have a healthy baby and not to break any records or win any ';tough woman'; contests. I went up to the last minute planning to use Lamaze and ended up having a C-section before I even went into labor because she was breech.

Don't equate your use of any method with success or failure.Good evening, folks!! Need some spiritual advice....?
Have them while your young when your body can handle it the best and use whatever drugs you need to take the edge off the pain caused during delivery. They say breast milk is the best for your child so try sticking with that for as long as possible.
You can start drinking pure ghee mixed up with milk for few days. and when your labour pain starts you can drink mustured oil as you wish bout not less than 200 ml. This will make slippery while delivery and you will not have much pain.
Congratulations on the new addition. ;)
Well, God created childbirth so I would encourage you to ask Him how he wants you to have the child.
    One word for you:

Atheists! I need your spiritual advice! Is it okay to cut your nails on the subway?

While riding the train to work today I was almost struck by a flying shard of fingernail from a Christian woman who was cutting her nails on the train! I was spiritually affronted and had to dodge like I was back in Nam. I am now depressed and demoralized. Should I have damned her to Hell for all eternity in hopes that she would repent of her odious behavior? You do agree with me don't you? Please say that you do!!Atheists! I need your spiritual advice! Is it okay to cut your nails on the subway?
No, it is better to bite them off and spit them out at strangers.Atheists! I need your spiritual advice! Is it okay to cut your nails on the subway?
Great question, if I could, I'd give this question ten stars! Maybe I will.

Spiritua;;y speaking it's just wrong and nasty to clip your nails on the train, but then it's also wrong to leave your 24oz can of bud on the seat as well, and your newspaper strewn all over the floor, or your coffee cup spilled into a puddle at my feet.

I think its safe to assume that all this litter was left by Christians, since they are the majority, the odds are that they were, so it was.
Not everyone can be high-class and gnaw them off, so I suppose a bit of nail-cutting is required ever so often. However, it should be done in the privacy of your own bathroom/cubicle/etc., and not on a train where poor, innocent victims such as yourself are subjected to such. I feel for you darling.
Well, it's better than having her cut her gnarly, gross toenails and throwing them at you, don't you think? Now THAT would be worthy of damning someone to hell for.

At least you don't work with someone who sits at her desk all day picking the bottoms of her feet.....(yeah, I'm talking about YOU, Cindy)
Gross, dude. That's seriously f*cked up. Who the hell cuts their nails on the subway? I mean it's already dirty enough without tiny bits of human bio matter decomposing on the ground... Well, even more bio matter.

To hell with the gross one!
That's improper etiquette and rude. It's generally considered impolite to spew your bodily fluids (including fingernail clippings) on others without their consent.
No. thats gross. that type of grooming needs to be done at home, or alone somewhere. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest her and her family.
That has nothing to do with spirituality. That's just plain wrong.

On the other hand, be glad it was a fingernail and not a toenail.
You should have taken off your shoes and started working on your toe nails. Aim the clippings her direction.
I hate it when people clip their nails in public. I would file an assault charge if I were you.
    Eww.

But just curious, how did you know she was Christian?
Tell her that God will send her damned ars'e straight into the lake of sulphur and fire.
