any advicE?Can you give me spiritual advice?
How are you with being perfectly still, and quiet?
It is difficult to develop an internal awareness that one is ';all one needs to be'; and that the world is better off that one maintains an appearance therein.
The more you can realize that there is absolutely nothing to prove... and that everyone, and I mean everyone... is a guest in God's Creation, no one in any situation you find yourself in is more important that yourself... the less you will need to substantiate your ';right'; to be where you are.
Remember... almost like a mantra, I am a Perfect Soul and there is no need to apologize for being. Let me share one thing with you that hardly anyone will know in any group you are in... and therefore Knowing this will make you superior to everyone in any group... so that you can just be there and they are all fortunate you are there.
';The MIND of Man feeds delusional thoughts to the Left-Hemisphere of ones brain and ones brain, unable to perceive the subtle energy on ones MIND, thinks that these thoughts are its [the brain's] own thoughts, and acts upon them.';
This is the reason we are unable to fight against an addiction... whenever ones MIND wants one to reach for something, it feeds one the thought to reach, and ones brain complies. The only way to permanently stop an addiction is to discover the reason for it... which is hidden within ones MIND.

Sathya Sai Baba says,
';Seva (service) opens the eyes of man to the comprehensive unity of creation. The easiest and most fruitful expression of Dharma (righteousness) today consists in doing service as worship of the Divine around you. Dedicate all your skills, talents, wealth and scholarship to the living embodiments of Divinity around you. That is the Dharmashakthi (power of right activity) which can draw grace upon you. ';

SAI RAM
Just be funny! It's much better than being shy. THE MORE LAUGHS THE BETTER!! (just don't overdo it)
every time I read your posts
you remind me of me
I spoke ... and a thousand words a second ran from my mouth without making much sense to anyone
I thought it better to speak than to be quiet ... so didnt even think about what I was saying
I really dont know how old you are ... but I think you are fairly young
I can only tell you that as I got older , I gained more confidence
however .... I did do a lot of soul searching , a lot of visualisations , a lot of study on psychology ( usually for others but helped me in the long run )
just chill babe ... you will get there
Laughter is the best medicine!!
:D
First take a firm decision not to speak anything when you are nervous.
Next, as you know breath controls the mind, so breathe slowly and deeply when you are nervous, and this will help you.
Finally, if still you are not doing it, disassociate yourself with the body by thinking of yourself just as a witness of your actions, and then watch yourself(your actions).
Just be you and don't worry about what others think, because that's their business anyway. Focus on who you are and allow yourself to be you. No need to be shy when you are certain that you are wonderful. Free yourself from your self-judgment and be happy.
Peace!
Just relax and learn to appreciate your personality more. If yo learn to build your confidence your wit will sharpen and you'll need to rely on it less.
