I need spiritual advice about an earthly topic?

I am 26 and don't know what I want to be in my life, I am so out of tune with myself. Anyone ever felt like this? Everyday I get depressed by how old Im getting and how unsuccessful I am. I have a degree but have went from temp job to temp job. I am really screwed. I am running out of time and youth and still don't know what to do with myself. someone please offer your thoughts/feelings. also-I have been looking up nursing programs but don't like the salary and med school is too long to be a dr. I am out of ideas what good paying careers can you think of.

Yes, about everybody feels like that at some point in their life. But despite you feel old, you still can do everything compared with a over 50 year old person who lost their job.





Also do you have hobbies outside of work which can define you? It can really help if work doesn't give you the confirmation of your value most people need. If you are e.g. a band member of a cool band, that would give you a strong feeling of self-value independent of your job.





As far as what you want to do is something every person has to figure out themselves. You need to consider what you are doing, why you are doing it,and what you would like to be doing. The latter is most often the problem.


Actually temp work isn't bad to get an idea of quite a number of different work places and I assume not-quite identical jobs. Trying a lot of different things isnt' that bad to figure out what you like. You can also try volunteering to get some ideas what you would like.





There are career counseling services. Why don't you look for one and get an appointment? In the worst case it's a waste of time, in the best case it will give you some new avenues to follow. Bug everyone you know with questions about their jobs...I need spiritual advice about an earthly topic?
Believe in God, and lead your life in the right way. I have devoted my life to God and i am very satisfied with my life.





Believe and praise him and he will lead you to the right path. i was like you first, i had no purpose in life, but i had God. He led me to a right path.





Follow his teachings, and you will be rewarded.
Take some time and find out what you want to do. Don't stop living life, get out and volunteer, see people, join groups. 26 is so young, don't panic!
You are 26. Your entire life still ahead of you. You have the most wonderful joys ahead of you, some heart aches, probably some back pain but mostly just joy. Figure out what you love and find a way to make a living doing it. Along the way you will find love, kids if you want them, a family, good friends. Change your perspective from ';I'm screwed'; to ';what do I want'; you are not a helpless observer here, you have the choices and the power to have the life that you desire. Life is a wonderful adventure and you are at the starting line!! Embrace it !!!!!
