Edit: Oh, for God's Sake, Happy Hiram! Obama himself said Wright was the director of Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee with his campaign. Don't you believe your own candidate? That's not the point anymore...and more to the point is, just because Obama says he doesn't go to him for spiritual advice, does not mean that he doesn't associate with him behind closed doors. He cannot be TRUSTED anymore than Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein. That would be suicide in my book of virtues.

If the media hadn't maliciously and falsely impuned Rev. Wright as a racist, Obama would still be on speaking terms with him. I suspect that Wright was never actively a part of the campaign.
